How does AMSOIL Motorcycle Oil Stand Up to Other Brands?

Premium Wear Protection
The intense pressures placed on gears and bearings inside motorcycle engines and transmissions can break the oil’s lubricating film, causing metal-to-metal contact and accelerated wear. As shown in the graph below, AMSOIL 20W-50 Synthetic Motorcycle Oil protects more effectively than the other oils, resulting in reduced wear for potentially fewer repairs and longer component life. Lower values reflect better protection.

High-Temperature Stability
Long rides in hot weather can cause inferior oils to lose viscosity. The thinner oil fails to protect bearings and other components from wear. As indicated by the test results below, each viscosity of AMSOIL Synthetic Motorcycle Oil exceeds the standards of their viscosities for high temperature film strength to deliver excellent wear protection.
